Module 3 - Perspectives on Technology in Education

There was a panel presentation and discussion in module 3 which presented varying views on the roles and use of technology in education.

Our readings for this week were:

Using information from the readings and the panel discussion I created 5 boards on Pinterest and used it as a social bookmarking tool for organizing

• my fundamental beliefs, ideas, and values (pillars) on technology in schools.

• resources that support these pillars.

I had not heard prior to this module the term "social bookmarking". I think that's a very useful term for describing how we should be using Pinterest and other similar tools such as this wix website  - as a means of storing information using technology so that it is accessible to many.
