Introduction
ABOUT ME
I am currently a student hoping to be a teacher one day. As a teacher I am excited to be an influence in the lives of adolescents and to help shape the kind of learning experience that will inspire them to be active and engaged in their learning and futures.
I have previously completed a degree in philosophy and psychology so that experience along with having a 15-year-old sister will greatly effect how I view and relate to adolescents as a teacher.
I would like to teach any grade really, and I see myself teaching in a rural setting, and in a public school. I may even want to travel and teach abroad, who knows?
However, I do know that I would love to coach a sports team wherever I may end up. I think those extracurricular are important for a student's involvement and enjoyment in school. It also keeps kid's in they eye of adults after school hours, and coaches can often influence how a student behaves in the classroom or relates to the outside world.

This e-portfolio is a collection of things that I have learned, reflected on and saved for possible use or as review/ reminder in the future. It contains my personal views, future plans, tips to remember, and many activities to guide student learning in the classroom.
